18. – 19.11.2022
Design sessions at HFBK Hamburg
Venue:
- ICAT im AtelierHaus der HFBK Hamburg, Raum 2
"I'd like to study design - but what exactly do you do?" If you're wondering, you've come to the right place at the HFBK Hamburg's design sessions on November 18 and 19, 2022, when the HFBK opens its doors and invites you to lectures, workshops and project presentations in its design studios and workshops.
The core of the two-day event program will be three workshops led by successful graduates of the university. The offerings are as diverse as the HFBK: in "The Queer Art of Sitting" prospective students test their own design skills, in "Designing Together" they learn about collaborative forms of work, and in "Design, Everyday Life, Privileges: A Mapping" they analyze power hierarchies inscribed in spaces and objects.
At the conclusion of the Design Weekend, HFBK professor Konstantin Grcic and external guests Felix Kosok and Michelle Christensen will pose a question in a public evening event that is probably on the minds of everyone interested in design: "What Design Can Do?"
Until 31 October 2022: To register for the workshops, click here!
Please note, that the event will be held in German language.
