ASA (N)open Studios 2021
In the winter semester 2020/21, despite the pandemic, nine international students from Vienna, London, Paris, San Francisco and Hangzhou came to Hamburg as part of the Art School Alliance to continue their studies here - in online seminars and group tutorials via video conferencing, in individual appointments in the workshops and, above all, in mutual inspiration as a residential community of the Karolinenstrasse studios. There, at the end of their stay, they finally completely emptied one of the studios in order to present their works - created during their time in Hamburg - in a non-public exhibition situation.
