The exhibition "Anywhere out of the world" is named after a prose poem by Baudelaire and does not take place in current digital chambers, but in the counter-worlds of aestheticism in the late 19th century. Based on the praise of artificiality against real and active life, the artists Peter Boué and David Fletcher focus in particular on the bible of the so-called decadence of those years, the novel "À rebours" ("Against Nature") by Joris-Karl Huymans, published in 1884. The exhibition is by no means historical or illustrative, but also takes a contemporary stance on the art of the time and its ideological and religious background.
