How do historic preservation and climate protection go together?
Venue:
- Gallionsfigurensaal im Altonaer Museum, Museumstraße 23, 22765 Hamburg
Owners of monuments increasingly want to make an important contribution to climate protection and install a PV system on their monuments, for example. The Office for the Protection of Monuments supports them in this and has now developed a guide that shows how a PV system can also be installed on a monument.
Senator for Culture Dr. Carsten Brosda will present the new guide for dealing with renewable energies in historical monuments on Wednesday, March 22, 10:00 am. The practical guide is intended to help with the planning of renewable energy systems that are compatible with listed buildings and their approval. The presentation will take place in the listed Altona Museum, on whose roof one of the first larger PV systems is currently being installed.
