Artist-in-Residence: Kunstkudder | Deadline: April 4, 2026
The Artist-in-Residence Program Zu Gast auf dem KUNSTKUDDER is a two-month residency by the city of Stade aimed at supporting emerging visual artists. The residency takes place on a converted houseboat located in the historic Hanse harbor, offering a unique living and working environment. The program provides free accommodation on the boat, a monthly stipend of 1,500 euros, and access to the workshops of the Stade museums. In addition, there is the opportunity to present work at the city hall and to produce a publication supported by a printing grant of up to 1,500 euros. The residency is intended for artistic work, research, and inspiration, without strict thematic constraints, although a connection to the location is encouraged.
