The Duisburg Artist-in-Residence Grant 2027 is a one-year residency program for cultural practitioners under the age of 40 from across Germany. The grant offers the opportunity to live and work artistically in Duisburg starting in January 2027. It includes a free studio, an apartment, a Germany-wide public transport ticket, a solo exhibition, and a publication presenting the works created during the residency.

Artists under the age of 40 from across Germany
Cultural practitioners working in visual arts, photography, illustration, performance, or video art
Applicants who completed their studies or training at least one year prior
Individuals interested in living and working in Duisburg
Artists who can explain why Duisburg is relevant to their artistic practice
