The Department of Academic Affairs coordinates quality assurance and evaluation at the university. This includes, among other things, the accreditation of degree programs, the updating of statutes and regulations, and student surveys. The department also coordinates the working group on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). In addition, it oversees the university’s international cooperations within the framework of the Art School Alliance (ASA). This includes 14 renowned art universities worldwide as well as numerous partner organizations of the Artist-in-Residence program.
