Licensed databases and electronic magazines allows artists and themes to be researched. Articles can often be downloaded as full text.

The resources can be accessed via the HFBK net. For university members it is also possible to access from home or on the go. One needs to authenticate with the HFBK self service ID. Technically the authentification builds on Shibboleth.

Our e-book collection can be researched mostly via the online-catalogue/OPAC.

The e-books were mostly acquired through Corona special funds and supported by the State and University Library Hamburg.

You can also access e-books through the ProQuest eBook Central portal. You’ll need to register the first time you use it. You can sign up by clicking “New Account” and entering your name and email address. The library team will then activate your account.

Lending library and media archive for new digital materials in the fields of art, architecture, design, philosophy, media studies, moving images, sound, and visual culture Access to LibraryStack is currently only available to HFBK students within the HFBK network.
