Spiekeroog Campsite Residency 2027
Nordseebad Spiekeroog GmbH is offering a one-month artist residency at the natural campsite on the island of Spiekeroog. Artists are invited to develop projects engaging with the island’s natural environment and its social and cultural structures. There is no set theme. The selected artist will receive a fee of €1,400 and up to €2,400 in project funding. Accommodation, ferry costs and material transport will also be covered. A bicycle will be provided, and the project will receive press and public relations support.
Who can apply?
Artists working in installation, land art, performance, photography and video.
Conceptual, temporary projects in public spaces and participatory formats are welcome.
Projects should relate to the island and its natural environment.

Projects should, where possible, allow for media documentation during their development. The artist grants communication rights for photos and videos; all other image rights remain with the artist.
