Introductory Meetings for all students

In the introductory sessions at the auditorium, Lerchenfeld 2 you will receive all the information about the organization and structure of your studies.
In addition, the study books will be handed out to you.

Your appearance at this event is absolutely necessary, as the allocation into beginner classes and a first meeting will take place. In addition, the beginner professors will introduce themselves and explain subject-specific topics. You will be given your study books at this date also.

Afterward, all workshops will be open until 4:00 p.m. for individual visits and questions.

First-Years’ Trip for Bachelor Students

At the start of your studies at the HFBK, you’ll go on a multi-day field trip together to Herbsthausen in Gartow (https://herbsthausen.org), which is run by former HFBK students, so you can get to know each other better right away. Two classes at a time will travel together with their professors in November 2026, for four days each, using public transportation to the Wendland region. You will receive further information at the start of the semester.
