Summer School: Writing as Artistic Practice | Deadline: May 3, 2026
The one-week summer school Writing as Artistic Practice is aimed at artists with an established writing practice. The summer school takes place in collaboration with TEXTE ZUM NACHDENKEN at Halle für Kunst Lüneburg. It offers a collaborative program including writing exercises, reading sessions, workshops, and discussions, as well as a public final presentation. Accommodation is provided, travel costs are partially covered, and there is no participation fee.
Who can apply?
Artists with an already developed writing practice
Individuals who use writing as part of their artistic work in various formats (e.g. text, performance, video, publication)
Applicants interested in exchange, collaboration, and collective working processes
Willingness to actively participate in an open and respectful working environment
Working languages are German and English, but writing in all languages is possible
