Residency at Künstlerhaus Meinersen | Deadline: July 11, 2026
The Municipality and the Joint Municipality of Meinersen are announcing a residency grant at Künstlerhaus Meinersen. The aim is to support young contemporary art and provide new impulses for the region. The residency is designed for a maximum of twelve months and begins by arrangement on 1 October 2026. It is an in-person residency with a focus on PAINTING. The program includes rent-free accommodation in the Künstlerhaus (living and studio space), a monthly stipend of 800 euros, and the presentation of the works created during the residency, usually in the form of a final exhibition. In addition, the conception and implementation of at least one art mediation project is required, which relates to the artist’s own work and involves the public.
Who can apply?
Preferably graduates of art academies
The university degree should not have been completed more than five years ago
Artists with a focus on painting
Willingness to reside and work primarily at the Künstlerhaus during the entire residency period
Willingness to conceive and carry out at least one art mediation project
