Joseph and Anna Fassbender Prize | Deadline: March 24, 2026
The Joseph and Anna Fassbender Prize of the City of Brühl will be awarded for the 36th time in 2026. It is an art prize for works in the fields of printmaking and drawing. The prize is endowed with 2,250 euros. In addition, the prizewinner will be given the opportunity to present a two-week exhibition in Brühl. The selection is made by a professional jury consisting of artists, art historians, the chairperson of the Max Ernst Society (Max Ernst Gesellschaft e.V.), a junior juror, a representative of the local community, and the Mayor of the City of Brühl. The award ceremony will take place on August 27, 2026, in Brühl.
Who can apply?
– Artists working in the fields of printmaking and drawing
– No age limit
– Submitted works must have been created within the last five years
– Applicants must be the sole authors of the submitted works
