Kunst Residenz Pritzwalk | Deadline: June 19, 2026
The Kunst Residenz Pritzwalk is an Artist-in-Residence program organized by the Kunst Freunde Pritzwalk association, conceived as a contribution to an open and collectively lived urban culture. At its core is the development of artistic projects that involve local communities and foster exchange as well as shared cultural processes in the town of Pritzwalk and the surrounding Prignitz region. The program is looking for projects from all artistic disciplines that work in participatory ways, create encounters, and explore new forms of living together. The residency is aimed at artists and creative practitioners who wish to live and work in Pritzwalk during the program and actively engage with the local community.
The residency takes place from 30.08. to 19.09.2026 and includes free accommodation in a holiday apartment with a garden, located about a 15-minute walk from the art association, as well as a bicycle for local mobility. In addition, a stipend of €900 is provided to cover travel, material, and living expenses. During the stay, artists are supported by local contact persons who help with networking, offer guided tours of the town, and connect participants with places and people in Pritzwalk.
