Re-registration / Semester Spent on Leave
15. February – 15. April (for summer semester)
15. August – 15. October (for winter semester)
Information on re-registration will be sent out in February and in August every year. In case of a change in address, please remember to inform us of the new address!
When the semester contribution is transferred to the HFBK account named here before the deadline, re-registration takes place automatically. Re-registration documents (semester ticket, student ID, matriculation certificate and § 9 BaföG certificate) will arrive by post approximately 14 days after the transfer.
During opening hours, the Service Office will be available to provide general and detailed information and advice.
Semesters spent on leave
Requests for leave are to be submitted to the HFBK’s Service Office before transferral of semester contribution. According to the Immatrikulationsordnung (rules of matriculation), a leave period of up to six semesters can be applied for.
Students who apply for leave and who were already on leave in the preceding semester can apply for a refund of the semester contribution of up to 50 euros. The application is to be made to the Service Office in written form together with the application for leave.
