Neue Kunst in Hamburg e.V. is once again awarding five travel grants for artists based in Hamburg in 2026.⁠ ⁠The grant supports a self-directed five-month working stay at a location of the artist’s choice, either in Germany or abroad, to develop new work and expand international networks. Recipients will receive a monthly stipend of €1,300 for up to five months, as well as reimbursement of travel expenses. The works created during the residency will be presented in a final exhibition in Hamburg accompanied by a publication.

Who can apply?

• Artists based in Hamburg

• Up to and including 40 years of age
