Everybody is a docking point. We built the systems that measure and we are still being measured. We rank everything by relevance. What to consume, who to interact with, where to go, even who to become—oftentimes we are in a constant struggle to find out what is, and what is not worth the attention of ourselves and those around us. This exhibition examines our yearn for validation: how we measure ourselves against expectations, how we change our behaviors, and what we choose to ignore.
The viewer is nevertheless not neutral. Whether treated with indifference or affection, the exhibition becomes a shifting landscape of relevance.
