Broken Screen – Open Call hinterconti
Broken Screens – Between Self-Presentation and Self-Loss is an open call for an exhibition at hinterconti in Hamburg from November 20 to 22, 2026. The open call seeks works that explore bodily representation in (a-)social media, digital self-presentation, and related themes such as self-doubt, disappointment, and disillusionment. Selected works will be presented as part of the exhibition. The exhibition is supported by the Hamburg Ministry of Culture and Media.
Who can apply?
Artists
Works addressing digital self-presentation, bodily representation, and changing perceptions of the physical self through social media and digital filters are sought.
Proposed works can be submitted as images or via video links.
