The (be aware) Design Award for Inclusion 2026 is a nationwide open call organized by design inclusion e.V. for projects that understand design as an integrative process and promote inclusive participation. The award recognizes innovative work that considers diverse forms of human perception and uses design to reduce barriers. The prize is endowed with €10,000.⁠ ⁠Submitted projects will be evaluated by an interdisciplinary jury based on the principles of Inclusive Design.

• Designers, creatives, and other professionals with projects in the field of Inclusive Design

• Projects that expand perception, enable interaction, and create accessibility are encouraged

• Submissions should address real needs and open up new forms of social participation
