BRAVA Awards 2027
The BRAVA Awards are an international visual arts competition organised by the Fondazione BRAVA. The first edition focuses on painting and is aimed at emerging artists aged 19 to 30. The goal is to support young artistic talent and provide opportunities for international visibility. Four acquisition prizes will be awarded: two prizes of USD 5,000 each, including an eight-week international artist residency covering travel expenses, accommodation, workspace, and materials, as well as two additional prizes of USD 3,000 and USD 2,000. The winning artworks become part of the foundation’s collection. Finalists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work in Punta del Este, Uruguay, in January 2027 and potentially take part in an international touring exhibition. They will also be included in the digital competition catalogue.
