During Alice Peragine’s third APPROXIMATES seminar at HFBK, students took a closer look into the history of Video Art and Live Art forms in relation to Live call-in TV broadcasting presented digitally to an audience including feedback with audience participation.
On Sunday December 12th, viewers can tune in live between 4 – 8PM here and experience performances by the students and get in touch with them immediately over the course of the show.
Inspired by multimedia, experimental formats such as The Kitchen in New York, Gerry Schums Fernsehgalerie and cross-genre pioneer Laurie Anderson, the Live call-in TV-Show is an open collaborative format for experimentation and improvisation in front of an audience at a time of physical distancing.
