HFBK

A dance performance exploring the body as a structure under pressure, caught between discipline, endurance and surrender. Through repetition, force, and exhaustion, the body begins to falter under the gaze of others, its resilience both demanded and consumed. As structures loosen and rhythms drift, what was held in place begins to shift; what was contained finds a way through. Bodies turn towards one another, voices emerge, and individuality unfolds beyond the confines of rigid space and measured time. In this gradual unravelling, Rust moves beyond the grid, where the body bears the traces of what has shaped it, its form altered by the forces it both resists and absorbs.
