The interdisciplinary Computery is concerned with content and techniques in digital media.

In the Computery, brief introductions in the form of block seminars are provided on the subject of working with systems involved in media production. A maximum of 8–10 people can attend the seminars. Students can register for the seminars a week in advance on a notice board in Room 243.

The HFBK Hamburg’s Computery was opened in 1988 by Professor Kurd Alsleben. It was the first computer facility of its kind at an art university.
