The workshop for painting techniques offers courses and individual support for students. The basics of material and technique-related topics through to questions of conservation and restoration are taught. Possible uses of various painting supports, primers, pigments, binders and solvents are presented and can be explored experimentally. Students’ artistic projects are supported in terms of painting and materials. Students are instructed in safety regulations and how to handle materials and hazardous substances. Assistance is offered with conservation and restoration issues.
