Application Doctoral Programs | HFBK Hamburg

At the HFBK Hamburg it is possible to study for a doctorate, which confers the title Dr. phil. in art. (philosophiae in artibus). This requires either a theoretical dissertation in written form or an artistic work accompanied by a theoretical text.

In addition, the HFBK offers a PhD in Art Practice program in which a research‑based artistic work will be developed as part of a three‑year curriculum at the HFBK Hamburg .
